STUDENT EXPERIENCE

  • Several student events will take place at the US National Whitewater Center this upcoming year

  • Students will receive their USNWC member benefits info during Welcome Week

  • For information about your annual pass holder access pass, contact the SEU Carolina office Monday-Thurs 9am-4pm

 

Residence Life

STUDENT HOUSING FOR FALL 2024

Multiply Church, our host partner, owns several houses that are conveniently located on campus.

  • All new incoming students will receive their housing assignments before August 1

  • Appointments will be needed for move-in weekend. Instructions for reservations will be received in your welcome packet before welcome week.

  • Invoices and Housing contracts must be executed before move in weekend on August 9

  • Balances for housing are paid online. To Make a payment, click here. Reference your invoice to know what you need to pay.

  • If you are unable to pay your outstanding balance for housing, then start a payment plan. Payment plans are now available online.

  • If you are not fire ready, you will not be able to move-in on campus

 

Dining on Campus

DINING HALL

  • Meals are now served on campus at SEU Carolina

  • The Dining Hall will be located in Suite 30

  • Our full service kitchen will be preparing a total of 64 meals during the fall semester. These meals are part of your benefits package.

  • Lunch will be served in Suite 30 from12:00-1pm Monday-Thurs

RESTAURANTS ON CAMPUS

  • SEU Carolina has a dozen different restaurants on campus

  • Restaurants include Subway, Mochica, Cookout, Waffle House, Arbys, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, Breakfast Time, Pizza Hut, McDonalds, Sonic and Chick-fil-A (coming soon)

  • Students will receive a meal card in their welcome packet before school with $150 on the card

  • This Visa card will be reloaded at the start of each semester

 

Academics

LET’S GET TO CLASS!

  • The first day of class is Wednesday, August 21

  • All of our classes will be held in-person at full capacity

  • Classes will be offered in our Academic Center within Suite 40 on campus

  • Night classes will be offered in the same location

  • Students can only miss 2 classes a session per block schedule for classes offered twice a week before incurring penalties

  • Students can only miss 1 class a session for classes offered once a week before incurring penalties

  • If any of our students need assistance with their schedule or their academics, Dr. Duane Aagaard (Director of Teaching and Learning) is on campus on Wednesday’s 2pm-8pm

 

Spiritual Formation

MIDWEEK CHAPELS

  • There are 32 chapel opportunities on campus this fall

  • Staff chapel is the first Tuesday of every month at 8:30am in Suite 5. Join us as we worship with the faculty and staff of SEU Carolina and the Multiply Family of Churches. And after chapel, join the staff for breakfast.

  • Student led devotions with our University Chaplain are every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesday at 8:30am at different locations on and off campus. Make sure to check your seu email to stay up-to-date.

  • Prayer Service is the fifth Tuesday of the month at 8:30am in the Prayer Center in Suite 95 on campus

  • Students receive a chapel credit for every event they attend. Traditional on-campus students are required to have at least 28 chapel credits by the end of the semester
