Experiential Education
At SEU Carolina, one of the defining features of our academic experience is that students don’t have to wait until graduation to gain meaningful experience in their field. Throughout their college journey, students have the opportunity to participate in practicum—a 3-credit course designed to provide hands-on learning beyond the classroom. Whether in ministry, education, business, or another field, practicum allows students to apply what they’re learning in real-world settings, develop practical skills, and build a strong résumé.
Not sure where to begin? That’s okay—SEU Carolina is deeply connected to a wide network of churches and organizations ready to support your journey. From Multiply Church, the home of SEU Carolina, to more than 15 partnering churches where our students are actively interning, we’re committed to helping you find the right place to grow. And Southeatern University believes so strongly in the value of this experiential education that a scholarship is provided to cover the cost of this experience.
