2022 was an incredible year for SEU Carolina. Last year, SEU Carolina was recognized by SEU Lakeland as one of the top 20 sites of strategic importance in the nation out of 200 other sites. We also celebrated our 5 Year Anniversary. To celebrate this momentous occasion, we published a book that looks back at what all God has done through the University and takes a look forward at what we intend to accomplish over the next 5 years. Lastly, in 2022, we announced several partnerships that helped us improve the experience for our students and increase the overall reach of the University. Take a moment to read about our partnerships from 2022 and explore the contents of our 5 Year Anniversary digital book below.
Multiply Food Service - In 2022, we were able to launch dining services for our traditional on campus students because of a unique partnership between SEU Carolina and the food services department at Multiply Church. Now students have access to 64 meals per semester on campus.
Visa - In 2022, we partnered with Visa so that all traditional campus students receive a Visa debit card when they enroll. This allows us to disperse funds directly to students that they can use at one of our 13 restaurants on campus. This is great for our students because they now have quick accessibility to funds for food whenever our dining hall is not open on campus.
Pepsi - SEU Carolina was able to take advantage of the overall buying power of the Multiply organization and negotiate discounted drink prices that can benefit our dining service for students at both the University & Academy, as well as Multiply Church.
Hilton - As the University has grown over the past 5 years, so has our influence and our capacity to bring in families from across the nation who are interested in touring our campus. We have hosted families as far south as Texas and as far north as Pennsylvania. In 2022, we partnered with the Hilton so that we can provide discounted rates for those families who need overnight accommodations. This benefits not just the University but also Multiply Church for any events we host on campus.
Concord Academy - In 2022, we were excited to partner with the Academy on two ventures. First, we were able to begin the workings of a dual enrollment partnership that will allow us to provide high school students at the academy with access to affordable Christ-centered education at the collegiate level. We plan to do a soft launch of the program in fall 23’ and a full on face-2-face program in the fall of 24’. The second partnership we were excited to announce with the academy was the Continuing Education Intensive. Now, educators at the Academy can take advantage of our University to maintain their teaching credentials and accreditation with the ACTs conference.
Multiply Church - To support the Crossover Initiative at Multiply Church, SEU Carolina moved its campus out of Suite 5 to pave the way for the construction that was going to occur for the new Multiply Church Concord auditorium. During this transition, the administration and staff at Multiply Church made its offices and meeting rooms available so that our students would have a place to go to school during this transition. We are grateful for the hospitality of Multiply Church and its staff.
